Steps

Peel and purée the mango into a paste without any water
- 2
Melt 1 tablespoon ghee in a heavy bottom pan and sauté the khoya until softened

Once done, add the mango purée and mix well

Continue to stir and cook on medium-Low heat as the mix thickens
- 5
Add the milk powder, cardamom and mixed nuts
- 6
Combine well and keep cooking until the mix starts coming together
- 7
Grease a plate using a teaspoon of ghee
- 8
Take off heat and transfer the mixture onto the greased plate
- 9
Spread well and sprinkle sliced pistachios
- 10
Let cool a bit before cutting in desired shapes-barfis / laddoos...

Store refrigerated airtight and enjoy!(tastes best when cold)
