Cooking Instructions

Take a heavy bottomed kadai or pan

Add ghee and let the ghee entire melt.

Then add whole wheat flour

Stir and mix the flour with the ghee.

Fry the flour stirring nonstop.

The colour of the flour will change.

Flour should have a shade of dark golden brown colour.

After that add sugar,dry fruits and water, be very careful as the mixture bubbles and splutters a lot.

Mix and stir very well.

Now cook the halva stirring non stop on low flame.

The mixture will thicken as it gets cooked.

The halva will also start releasing ghee.

Cook till the whole mixture become one mass and leave the side of the pan.

When the halva as thick pudding like consistency

Then switch off the flame.

And now halva is ready..😊
