Take chickpea flour in a bowl add water In a small portion and stir to make batter.

Batter of pouring consistency is ready add salt,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,carom seeds mix all the spices well

Add 1pinch baking soda to it.mix well keep a side for 10 min up to puff.

To make stuffing take boiled potatoes peel and crumble them meanwhile heat pan

Add oil to pan.once hot add cumin seeds roast slightly keep flame slow

Add asofoetida, turmeric powder, coriander powder,finely chopped green chilli,ginger paste

Add potatoes to it.add red chilli powder,salt keep flame medium.Mash and roast it for 2-3 min.add some green coriander turn off the flame keep cool it

Grease hand with oil.pick stuffing make ball keep in a plate

Put appam pan to heat keep flame low pour 1 to 2 drops of oil in it

Lift a ball cool with chick pea flour batter put it in appam pan to cook to 4 to 5 min.cover it

Cook till brown then flip pour some oil over it.flip again till brown cover to cook again an low flame 3 to 4 min.ready to serve
