Boil the chana in a pressure cooker with salt turmeric powder and whole garam masalas.

Heat oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf and red chilli

Now as they crackle add onion slices saute well

Add garlic crushed and ginger paste saute well till the raw smell disappears

Add cumin and coriander powder and mix red chilli Powder

Saute till it leaves oil and add the chana

Combine well adding sugar and chana masala
- 8
Serve with roti,puri or naan
