Masoor Dhal Paniyaram(appe)

First soak the yellow masoor dhal for 4 hours then grind into fine paste with little salt transfer to a bowl and add rava curds and mix. Well with water to make a batter.

Add salt chopped onions green chilli mix.

Then add curry leaves and mix well.Let it rest for half hour.

Now add oil to the appam mould and pour the batter into it and close with the lid. Half teaspoon oil will do for each appam, you can eat less oil this way as we close and cook it. Flip and cook on the other side and then serve with sauce when done. It’s nice even without tadka.
