
Deep dish spinach and prosciutto quiche with toasted sesame crust

Mix flour, sesame seeds,and salt. Mix in cold butter.

Whisk eggs and water together and pour into flour

Mix to form a moist shaggy dough and roll it out

Sprinkle a greased springform pan with sesame seeds and put dough in

Preheat oven to 350°F

Bake crust for 10-15 min

Reduce oven temp to 325°F

Heat butter in a skillet over medium add onion and cook until caramelized about 10 min

Stir in spinach and sundried tomatoes, cook until spinach is wilted

Add thyme, dill, salt and pepper. Make sure all moisture is removed from spinach and remove from heat

Cool 5 to 10 min and stir in cheese

Spoon spinach into crust

Blend eggs, yogurt, milk, and nutmeg until smooth season with salt and pepper, and pour over the spinach

Bake 15 min top with prosciutto. Bake another hour. Allow to rest 20 min before cutting. Top with sesame seeds and salt
