Ingredients

  • 250 gmsfish pieces (Boneless)
  • 1/2 cupmaida
  • 1/2 cupcorn flour
  • 1 tspbaking powder
  • 2 tspsoy sauce
  • 2 Tbspcelery (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tsppepper
  • to tasteSalt
  • as neededOil
  • Spring onions, to garnish
  • For the sauce:
  • 1 Tbspginger chopped
  • 1 Tbspgarlic chopped
  • 1 Tbspgreen chilli chopped
  • 4 Tbspsoy sauce
  • 5 Tbsptomato sauce
  • 1 Tbspchilli sauce
  • 1 Tbspcorn flour

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the fish into pieces.

  2. 2

    Make a batter with corn flour, maida, baking powder, soy sauce, celery, pepper powder, water and salt.

  3. 3

    Dip the fish pieces in the batter and fry in oil till golden brown. Transfer fish into a serving plate.

  4. 4

    Heat oil in a pan.

  5. 5

    Saute garlic, ginger and green chilli. Add soy sauce, chilli and tomato sauce to it.

  6. 6

    Finally add corn flour mixed with water to it and stir well. Once it starts to boil, remove form heat.

  7. 7

    At the time of serving, pour the sauce on top of fried fish pieces and mix well.

  8. 8

    Garnish with chopped spring onions and Green Chillies.
