Ingredients

  1. for outer covering
  2. 3Raw Bananas, boiled and grated
  3. 1/8 cupcarrot, grated
  4. 1/4 cuppeas, blanched and crushed
  5. 1/4 cupbeet, grated
  6. 1/4 CupSinghara Flour
  7. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  8. 2Green Chilis, finely chopped
  9. 2 TbspCoriander Leaves chopped
  10. 1 tbspmint leaves chopped
  11. 1/2 TeaspoonBlack Pepper Powder
  12. 1/2 tspSalt
  13. for farali pattice stuffing:
  14. 1/4 cupgrated coconut
  15. 2 tablespoonpeanuts
  16. 2 tablespooncashew nut
  17. 2 tablespoonraisins, chopped
  18. other ingredients:
  19. 1 tablespoonghee

Steps

  1. 1

    In a big bowl, mix the ingredients for outer covering and form a dough.

  2. 2

    Roast the peanuts and cashew nuts till light brown in colour and crush them coarsely.

  3. 3

    Mix them with raisins and coconut. Keep the stuffing aside.

  4. 4

    Make medium sized balls from the banana dough mixture and flatten it.

  5. 5

    Place 1 tbsp of the prepared stuffing, bring the edges towards the center and gently seal the edges.

  6. 6

    Heat ghee in the frying pan and fry the pattice until golden brown, turning them occasionally.
    Serve falahari pattice with coriander chutney.
