Soak 1 cup of yellow moong dal and 1/2 cup of urad dal overnight.

Next morning, blend both dals and add 1/4 tsp of salt, 1/4 tsp of black pepper and 1/4 tsp of asafoetida.

Fry the vadas using the blended mixture.

Soak the fried vadas in hot water for 10 minutes.

Squeeze the water from the vadas and keep the vadas in refrigrator for 20 minutes.

Blend the yogurt to get a smooth texture

Plate the dish by keeping two vadas. Put 1/2 cup of yogurt over it. Sprinkle some salt and red chilli over it. Put a tsp of each of three sauces over it. Sprinkle some pomegranate seeds over it. And the dish is ready to serve.
