Preheat your broiler.

Score the tenderloin, making 1/4" deep cuts diagonally every 2 inches. Set in the boiler pan.

In a bowl, whisk together the mustard, oil, soy sauce, garlic and pepper. Brush half the marinate on the pork and let it stand for 10 minutes.

Place the tenderloin 4 inches below the broiler and cook for 8 minutes. Quickly turn the roast over and brush with remaining marinade. Return to the broiler for another 8-10 minutes.

Let it rest on a platter under a loose foil tent for a few minutes before slicing.
