  4. 4Cinnamon
  5. 8Cloves
  6. 6Mace
  7. 6Bay leaf
  8. 6 tspGhee
  9. 20 gmsCarrot
  10. 15 gmsFrench Beans
  11. 150 gmGreen Peas
  12. 40 gmSlice Onion
  13. 20 gmChop Ginger
  14. 1 bunchMint Leaves
  15. 30 gmsCoriander Chop
  16. 20 gmsFried Onion
  17. To Taste-Salt
  18. half cupCurd
  19. 5Green Chilli Chopped
  20. 10gmsRed Chilli Powder
  21. 5 drops Kewra Water
  22. 5 dropsRose Water

  1. 1

    Peel and jullien carrots. String the beans and juillien.

  2. 2

    Pick,clean and wash rice.soak in tap water for about 30 min.

  3. 3

    Heat ghee and half of whole garam masala.soute till it crackeles.And slice onion and fry till golden brown colour.

  4. 4

    Add ginger,garlic,green chilli and fry for about one minute.Add chilli powder and turmeric powder add carrot,beans,couliflower,green peas,potato and fry another one minute.Add curd and water and boil.

  5. 5

    Check the vegetable and when carrot is cooked,take off from heat.

  6. 6

    In another Pan,cook the rise with half of whole garam masala salt.cook untill rise is cooked 80%.

  7. 7

    Put alternate layers of rice and vegetable in another lagan,spring mint,Coriander chop and brown onion each layer.first and last layer is always rice.

  8. 8

    Place the silver foil on top of lagan.

  9. 9

    Garnish with brown onion and Coriander spring and jullien ginger.

  10. 10

    Served Hot with Mint Chutney and Garlic raita
