Ingredients

  • 1Surmai Fish (Cleaned,washed and cut into pieces)
  • 1 tspLemon Juice
  • 1 tspginger garlic paste
  • 2 tspsalt
  • 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tspRed Chilli powder
  • 2 tbspRice Flour
  • 4 tbspCoarse Sooji
  • 3 tbspWater
  • 1 tbsptamarind pulp

Steps

  1. 1

    MIx in rice flour, tamarind pulp, some salt and dip fish in it.

  2. 2

    Take sooji in a plate, add some red chilli powder and mix. Roll the fish gently in it.

  3. 3

    Heat oil and shallow fry fish on medium flame.

  4. 4

    Cook till it gets a golden colour. Serve hot with lemon wedges.
