Stir flour, sugar, baking powder then cut in the margarine to make crumbly mixture,add in the egg to form a dough.

Divide dough to 2 halves,mix one half with cocoa powder to make choc dough.freeze 4 10min.

Roll both doughs to rectangle separately.slice into strips 3*3 each dough.(shld b 18 strips for both doughs)

ASSEMBLING:place 2 strips of opposing colours next to each other. 1st layer ''choc,van,choc'' 2nd layer top, ''van,choc,van'' until u finish all the strips.

TIP:Brush egg whites wen assembling to stick strips together.

Wrap n freeze for 10 min. Slice dough vertically, N u shld hav checkerboard shape.

Bake at 180° for 10-15 min.
