Bring the water to a boil in a pot.

Once the water is boiling, rinse the rice and add it to the pot.

Wait until the water is absorbed and the rice looks dry, then stir it. Cover the pot with a plastic bag or aluminum foil, and reduce the heat to low.

Let it cook for 15 to 20 minutes. Taste the rice to check if it's done, then serve.
