Place a pan on a low flame take 3 cup of water in the pan and add one tablespoon of ghee in the water when water gets boil add rice flour to the water mix it well then place a lid on the pan let it steam for 10 minutes then of the flame and let it cool down after the mixture is cooled down, knead the dough until it becomes soft and smooth and keep it aside

For stuffing- heat ghee in a pan then add desiccated coconut, jaggery, nutmeg and chironji and fry them nicely when mixture get dried then off the flame. Now take a small ball of dough and roll it in a roti shape with the help of water in hand now place the stuffing in the middle and give it modak shape and keep them aside at last stream all the modak for 20 to 25 minutes now steamed modak is ready
