Ingredients

45 minutes
4 servings
  • 1/2 cupRice flour
  • 150 gmMawa
  • 2 tablespoonJaggery (melted)
  • 1 tablespoonCondensed milk
  • 3 tablespoonDry Coconut (grated)
  • 7-8Almonds (finely chopped)
  • 5-6Pistachios (finely chopped)
  • 5-6Cashew nuts (finely chopped)
  • 10-15Raisins
  • 1 cupWater (or as per need)

Steps

45 minutes
  1. 1

    Boil water in vessel and then put rice flour in it and cover it for 5 minutes then knead it into a soft dough.

  2. 2

    Now in a bowl, combine other left ingredients and mix it well.

  3. 3

    Cut small portions or peic3s from the dough then flatten it a bit and stuff it with the prepared mixture.

  4. 4

    Now a shape it like modak using any spoon's or fork's back or if you have modak mould you can use it then.

    Now cook it in steamer for 20-25 minutes then switch off the flame.

    Modak is ready to serve now.
