Baroskitchen pilau

I was always fasinated with pilau as a young boy, normally I could have it during special occasions but mostly during Jesus birthday( Christmas). I had the urge to know how to prepare it by myself. I have tried several pilau recipes courtersy of google, but I had to try it my own way to make it taste different.

I have tried several pilau recipes courtersy of google, but I had to try it my own way to make it taste different.
Steps

Boil the meat in salted water till tender.

Crush garlic and ginger.

Saute onions until golden brown.

Add meat, rice, garlic, ginger and play masala.

Cook over moderate heat until they brown for around 8 minutes.

Add tomatoe paste.

Cook while stirring until they mix well and thoroughly cooked.

Add water to the rice mixture, bring to boil and cover with low heat(15-20 minutes) till water is arbsorbed and rice is cooked.

I prefer served with kachumbari.
