First make tight dough with all purpose flour with water & keep aside.

Heat the pan take 2 spoon ghee in it add coconut & poppy seeds saute for 5 minutes in low flame.

Now in separate bowl grate jaggery or crush it.

Add roasted poppy seeds & coconut in grated jaggery & mix well with a spoon.

Stuffing is ready for modak.

Through dough take small portion in ur hand flaten it then add stuffing mixture in it.

Through fingers give shape of modak.

Heat pan put ghee in it for deep frying.

When ghee is warm then deep frying modak till golden brown.

Modak is ready to serve.
