Ingredients

  1. For Kofta
  2. 100 gramsPaneer crumble
  3. 4boiled potatoes mashed
  4. 4 slicesbread crumbled
  5. 1/4 tspnutmeg (jaifal) powder
  6. 1/4 tspelaichi powder
  7. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  8. 1 tbspcornflour
  9. 2 tbspmaida for coating
  10. to tasteSalt
  11. For fryingOil
  12. 1/2 cupPaneer
  13. For stuffing
  14. 1onion finely chopped
  15. 1 tspsaunf (fennel) powder
  16. 1 tspgreen chilli finely chopped
  17. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  18. FewFew strands saffron
  19. 2 tbspcashewnut coursely grind
  20. 1 tbspRaisins
  21. 1 tbspghee
  22. To tasteSalt
  23. 1 cupOnion paste
  24. For gravy
  25. 3 tbspghee
  26. 2 tbspoil
  27. 3green cardamom powder
  28. 2bay leaves
  29. 1javitri
  30. fewstrands of saffron mixed with 1tbsp milk
  31. 1 tspginger paste
  32. 1 tsppowderd sugar
  33. 1 tspred chilli powder
  34. 2 tbspcornflour mixed in 1/2cup of curd
  35. 1/2 cupfresh cream
  36. 1 cupmilk
  37. 1/4 tspjaiphal powder
  38. 1/2 cupcashew nut powder
  39. To tasteSalt
  40. For GarnishingFew saffron strands

Steps

  1. 1

    For kofta mix all ingredients except oil and maida and mix well.

  2. 2

    For stuffing heat ghee in a pan add onion and saute for 2 to 3 minutes

  3. 3

    Mix all remaining ingredients except paneer and mix well saute for 2 minutes.

  4. 4

    Remove from heat and cool the mixture and add paneer and mix well.

  5. 5

    Divide the kofta mixture in dual portions and shape each portions into flat tikki and stuff 1tsp filling and cover again shape as a tikki.

  6. 6

    Coat each tikki in maida and deep fry till they turn in golden brown in colour.

  7. 7

    For gravy:-Heat oil and ghee in pan add all the whole sabut masala, add the onion paste and salt and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  8. 8

    Add ginger paste and saute for 1 minutes.

  9. 9

    Add red chilli powder, powdered sugar, jaiphal powder, cashewnut powder and salt, curd-cornflour mixture and mix well.

  10. 10

    Cook for 2 minutes in slow flame.

  11. 11

    Add cream, milk and saffron mixture and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  12. 12

    When mixture become thick place kofta and cook for 1 minutes.

  13. 13

    Garnish with saffron and serve hot with roti or naan.
