Ingredients

  1. 1whole chicken cut in approximately 12 pieces
  2. 3large potatoes washed and cut in cubes
  3. 6-8artichoke hearts
  4. 5 sprigsgreen onions chopped
  5. Few sprigs chives chopped
  6. Juice of 3 limes or 2 lemons
  7. 1 tspchilli powder
  8. 2 tsppepper powder
  9. 2 tsporegano
  10. 1 bunchfresh dill chopped
  11. Olive oil
  12. to tasteSalt

Steps

    In a cup mix lemon juice, oregano, chilli, pepper powder, salt and set aside

  2. 2

    In a skillet heat a tbsp olive oil and add chopped chives and onions and cook until wilted about 5-8 minutes, set aside

  3. 3

    In a large bowl place chicken pieces at the bottom, layer potatoes above chicken pieces, layer artichokes, now add chive and onion mix

  4. 4

    Pour the marinade into the bowl, mix together throughly and set aside for 1/2hr

  5. 5

    Set oven to moderate /180 degrees celsius

  6. 6

    In a baking tray, place potatoes at the bottom of the tray place chicken on top, pour in the marinade on the chicken pieces, drizzle 1/2 cup of olive oil and bake for 50 minutes

  7. 7

    Remove chicken pictures and keep warm and bake potatoes for about 40 minutes or until crusty

  8. 8

    Mix chicken pieces, cover and set aside for 8 minutes before serving

  9. 9

    Enjoy with a side of salad.
