Ingredients

20 minutes
4 servings
  1. 4red tomato half ripe
  2. 3boiled potatoes
  3. 2onions
  4. 4garlic cloves
  5. 1/2 cupgram flour
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. 1 pinchcarom seeds
  8. 1/2 teaspoonred chilli powder
  9. 1/2 tablespoongaram masala
  10. 1/4 tablespoondried mango powder
  11. as neededRefined oil
  12. 2cloves
  13. 1cardamom
  14. 2 tablespooncashew paste
  15. 1/2 tablespoonpowdered sugar
  16. 1 cupcream
  17. 1 cupmilk
  18. 1/2 teaspoonblack pepper powder

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Peel and mashed potatoes

  2. 2

    Add salt,garam masala,red chilli powder and mango powder

  3. 3

    Mix well

  4. 4

    Cut upper part of tomatoes and take out the seeds

  5. 5

    Stuff the potato mixture into tomato shells

  6. 6

    Make a thick batter with gram flour,salt,carom seeds and water

  7. 7

    Dip stuffed tomatoes in this batter and deep fry in hot oil

  8. 8

    Peel onions and garlic

  9. 9

    Boil onion and garlic in boiling water until it turn soft

  10. 10

    Make a smooth paste of it

  11. 11

    Heat 2 spoon oil in a pan

  12. 12

    Add cloves and cardamom

  13. 13

    Add onion paste and saute until it turn dry

  14. 14

    The colour of onion should not change so that saute on low flame

  15. 15

    Add cashew paste and stir for 2 minutes

  16. 16

    Add cream and cook until it leaves oil

  17. 17

    Add milk,salt,black pepper powder and salt

  18. 18

    Boil for 2-3 minutes and switch off the flame

  19. 19

    For serving cut kofta into halves and dip into hot gravy

  20. 20

    Serve with naan or rice
