I’ve been wondering how else I can recook leftover nyama choma apart from putting it in a stew. I thought of stir fry and how nyama choma would fit in the mix. See the recipe below

I’ve been wondering how else I can recook leftover nyama choma apart from putting it in a stew. I thought of stir fry and how nyama choma would fit in the mix. See the recipe below

Cut the leftover nyama choma to pieces. If it’s on bones remove the meat from the bone and cut to pieces. Prepare the onion, carrot, green pepper, garlic and ginger. Cut them in small pieces separately. Boil the spaghetti in hot water, 1 teaspoon of cooking oil and some salt. Set aside once cooked

In a saucepan or sufuria fry the onion, garlic and ginger for 3 minutes over medium heat. After add the leftover nyama choma pieces. Cook until the mixture has coated the meat. Add a pinch of salt, cayenne pepper and dark soy sauce (add enough that will coat the amount of spaghetti you have set aside).

Let it cook as you stir for an additional 5 minutes. Later add the pieces of carrots and green pepper. Cook tenderly. Don’t over cook them. They need to still be a-bit crunchy when you are eating the food

Add the boiled spaghetti in the mixture and fold it in using a fork. Make sure the spaghetti is mixed well in the mixture and it’s fully coated with soy sauce. let it simmer on low heat for 5 or more minutes

Serve as you wish. You can eat it plain or use it as an accompaniment to a main. Enjoy 😉
