Steps
- 1
Wash tomatoes, pepper, tatashe, onion and atarodo; Blend all and add garlic, ginger don't over blend i love a little roughness in my peppered stew
- 2
While you are at it, clean up kpanla and spice to your desired taste and parboil for about 5 to 7 minutes without water and on low heat and set aside
- 3
Heat up pot, add veg oil and slightly fry the kpanla fish once you are done with that remove fish and pour in the blended paste; fry till you don't taste the sour taste and this might take over 25mins so you have to be patient to get the right taste, and stir continuously so it doesn't get burnt
- 4
Once you are satisfy with the taste, add the fried fish stir and immediately add salt, knorr cube and allow to simmer on low heat for about 5mins;
