At first wash the fish well and marinate with vinegar,salt and black pepper powder.Keep it aside for 30 minutes.

Now heat oil and temper whole garam masalas,red chilli and bay leaf

Now add onion and garlic paste,saute well on low heat till a nice aroma comes out.

Now add the other masala paste(poppy seeds and melon seeds) and saute well adding salt and sugar.

As the masala starts releasing oil add the curd beaten well with little water. Add fish mix well with soft hand and cover keeping the heat low for 10 mimutes.

Now remove the cover flip the fish,add slitted green chillies and cover again for 5 minutes.

As water dries up add kewra essence and serve it with steaming hot rice,garnished with onion rings tomato slices and green chillies.
