Ingredients

  • 2 cupsflour
  • 1 cupwater
  • 1 smallgrated carrot
  • 2 small raw banana
  • 1 small aaloo
  • 1 teaspoonkasuri methi
  • 1 teaspoondhaniya powder
  • 1 teaspoonamchur powder
  • pinchhing /asafoetida
  • to tastesalt
  • 1/2 teaspoongrated ginger
  • as neededoil+ghee to smear on paratha as required

Steps

    First to make stuffing: Pressure cook raw banana and aloo for 5 whistles. Let it immerse in water fully while pressure cooking it. It will cook very well. Then take it out cool it peel it mash it and add grated carrot to it. Mix well. Then add green chilli salt amchur dhaniya powder and kasuri methi hing ginger to it and mix well. Keep aside.

    Now to make paratha: First make a soft dough by mixing warm water the dough. I make it in opos method, where I mix water oil and salt first then add the dough and,mix with fork after half hour mix the dough well. Take a small ball and make a well in the center with sides thin and the center thick. Put the stuffing in the center and grab all the corners to make a ball.

    Once done roll out flat with very light hands. Do not press too much stuffing will come out. Now heat a tawa and place the roti on that and cook on both sides with ghee+oil. Serve with pickle of your choice.
