Apple Pie Crepe Cupcake...things

Okay so not gonna lie I had no idea this was going to work and I can't think of any kind of fancy name for this (if it hasn't been done already). Anyway, I tried out a recipe that was supposed to be "quick" and "easy" and "my daughter loved it" and I realized whoever told you making crepes was easy was a dirty communist because I couldn't get it right. Well, I ditched the recipe and used my own experience in the culinary arts to create what eventually became this. It was a cold night in Florida--good luck!! :)

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Beat your eggs, melt your butter, then whisk all your wet and dry ingredients into a mixing bowl like you do. But remember to pour the milk and water slowly! Your batter should be a little thick but mostly liquidy.
- 2
Pull out a spatula and a ladel, set your pan on the stove, and drizzle some olive oil on it. Set your heat to medium-high (mine was set to 8/10). Like with pancakes, pour the batter into the pan, wait for the edges to stick to the pan, then flip it over-- but oh CRAP! The damn thing broke! What you can save, set on a plate nearby and enjoy! For the pieces that didn't make it, shovel them up into a bowl---those are important. Repeat until the mixing bowl is empty.
- 3
For the pieces that broke off, pull out a cupcake baking pan, and put some of those little paper cups in it. Next, break apart the broken pieces (yes, break them MORE) and set them neatly into the little cups. When you reach about halfway, stop, and place a few bits of the apple pie filling into the center. Cover the filling with the broken crepe pieces until the cup is full.
- 4
Mix the brown sugar and apple pie spice, and cover the crepe pieces inside the cup. Use ALL of it!
- 5
Set the oven to 350 F, and bake for 30 minutes.

Apple Pies in Muffin/Cupcake Tins Apple Pies in Muffin/Cupcake Tins
I had heard about pies being made as single serve pies in muffin tins. I loved the idea, they are great for a party, holiday and then the big bonus is they can be frozen and also packed in lunches for work or school. I Adapted my full size apple crisp for these.! fenway -

Apple Pie Baked Oatmeal Cups Apple Pie Baked Oatmeal Cups
My kids have been loving baked oatmeal in their breakfast rotations lately and it's so simple to throw together this recipe and bake them on Sunday nights to have on hand for early school mornings. I bake this recipe in muffin tins, as they're more kid friendly and can be portable, but you could bake this in a 9x9" pan instead, for about the same amount of time. Christina -
Apple Pie Slab something or other Apple Pie Slab something or other
I don't have a pie dish apparently but I do have tons of baking pans, so that's how this came about. Pie crust recipe is from Emmymadeinjapan's Apple Tart, which is also slightly adapted from Alice Water's Pâte Brisée. The filling & crumble was me just eyeballing things :) Teodora T. -

Apple Pie Apple Pie
I hand made some pastry, so I wanted to eat an apple pie flavored with lots of my favorite cinnamon.-Be careful not to burn your fingers when removing the plastic wrap after making the filling.-You can use broken castella cake because it will be covered with apple. About 1cm of cake at the bottom is good enough.-About half of the pastry will be left over from this recipe, so use the rest for another sweet. Recipe by nyonta cookpad.japan -
Apple Pie (with Cream Cheese Custard) Apple Pie (with Cream Cheese Custard)
You put custard cream in an apple pie, right?!I happened to have some cream cheese in the fridge, so I turned it into a kind of custard - and wow! It turned into a wonderful combination!Cheese and apples really go well together, so please give it a try!The key is the cream cheese custard! You can make it in a pan of course...but to make the small amount that you need, the microwave works best!I tried making mini pies in madeleine molds this time although it was rather tedious. Everyone said they were so cute and they got rave reviews!!!You can use any leftover filling as jam. Recipe by youerika cookpad.japan
