Meatpies in cake pans

This is a lovely recipe and i had fun making it, #chefscorner #sokotostate
Steps

Sift flour with baking powder and salt, add butter and mix till it feels like crumbs, add water slowly and knead to form a soft dough, cover and set aside to rest.

Add two spoonful of cooking oil in a pan, over medium heat and saute the onion, ginger and garlic paste

Add the meat and stir well,add the peppers, salt and stock cube, stir and add 1/2 cup of water, close the pan and let it simmer till the water dries up, remove from heat and set aside

Roll out the dough and place in the pan, leave some excess dough at the edges so that it helps to bring out the shape of the bottom as in the picture below, spoon the fillings and add in the dough landen pan, beat the egg and brush over the edges roll out some more again and cover then apply egg wash over the pie

Preheat the oven at 180 degree bake the pies for 10-15 mins or till the dough turns golden, romove and let it cool for 5mins, romove from the pan and serve
