Firstly wash the dal properly. now put the dal in pressure cooker. Now add water, turmeric powder, salt and half tsp garlic paste in it and cook it well.

Finally grind them (ginger, garlic, and green chilli).and now make tomato puree.

Heat the oil in the pan, now give the tadka of cumin, cloves and asafoetida in the oil. Now add dry red chilli, ginger, garlic and green chilli paste in it and after one minute put the tomato puree in it. After few minutes put the peas in it and mix it well, now add all dry spices in it and mix it well.

When spices gets rosted and peas that cooked, then the put dal in it and mix it well and turn off the gas and add lemon juice, coriander in it and mix it well.
