Firstly collect all ingredients for halwa.

In a large pan or kadhai heat ghee and add grated beetroot and saute for 3-4 minutes.

Add milk and let it cook on a medium heat until milk thickens and beetroot cooks properly.

Then add sugar and mix well.

Then add paneer and khoya combine well. Sugar will release the water but not to worry.

Keep stirring the mixture until it starts leaving the pan. Turn off the gas.

Add the cardamom powder and mix well.

Serve halwa in bowl and garnish with almonds and pistacho.

You can also serve as a Kalakand. Spread the mixture in greased thali or tray and flatten it evenly and cool a little and cut in your desire shape.
