Ingredients

4 to 6 person
  1. 2cup rice for making rice flour powder (500gm)
  2. 100gm chana daal (split chickpeas)
  3. 250gm Urad daal (split & dehusked black gram lentils)
  4. Cloves garlic (20 to 25 pieces)
  5. 5-6dry red chilli
  6. asafoetida 1tsp (acc to taste)
  7. salt as need
  8. lukewarm water for dough
  9. oil for gracing
  10. oil for fara fry

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak Both Pulses in water in seperate bowls for Overnight.. next day, Grind pulses Separately without water (if needed then very less).

    Take clove of garlic, dry red chilli and salt as per taste. make chutney.

    Take bothe pulses and chutney and salt in a bowl and mix it well.

    Take two cup Rice and grind it in mixi. Make thin Rice flour powder. Then make soft dough In lukewarm water.

    Make small balls of Dough and strech on rolling board. Cut into Cup size pieces.

    Stuff Daal/Chutney mixture in Dough. place it on oil gracing Channi over steam. let it steamed for 10-15 Min.

    Now steamed fara is ready for eat. serve with green chutney.
