Ingredients

  1. Moong Dal Khichdi..
  2. 1 cupMoong Dal
  3. 1/2 tspGinger
  4. 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  5. 1Whole red chilli
  6. 1 pinchhing
  7. 1/4 tspTurmeric Powder
  8. 1/2 cupRice
  9. As neededWater
  10. 1/2 tspRed chilli Powder
  11. as neededDhaniya Leaves.
  12. 1 tbspGhee
  13. 1/2 tsp.Lemon juice

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak Dal and Rice for 30 mins. In a pressure cooker, heat ghee... Add cumin seeds and whole red chilli... Put the flame to low and Sprinkle hing... Add ginger...Fry until fragrant.... Add turmeric powder and red chilli powder..Mix and fry.. Add the drained rice and dal...sauté for 4 to 5 mins...

    Add 4 to 5 cups of water...add salt...Stir well and taste little water for salt. Pressure cook for 2 whistles. Khichdi is ready
