Mitho Lolo is a famous Sindhi sweet flat bread made on special occasions like Cheti chand ( beginning of the new year) and also on thadri ( sheetala saptmi) . It is eaten best with curd,butter and pickle or can be served with other vegetables.

Mitho Lolo is a famous Sindhi sweet flat bread made on special occasions like Cheti chand ( beginning of the new year) and also on thadri ( sheetala saptmi) . It is eaten best with curd,butter and pickle or can be served with other vegetables.
Steps

Dissolve the sugar in one cup water and make a syrup. Take all ingredients.

Take flour in a big mixing bowl and add cardamom powder to it.

Make a well in between and add the ghee.

Mix the ghee well with flour until it resembles bread crumbs.

Using the sugar syrup make a firm dough and rest it for 15-20 minutes.

Now take small portions of dough and make roti or lolo half inch thick. They might have slight cracks due to the amount of ghee inside but don't worry about those.

Heat a tawa on gas and put the Lolo on it. Switch the sides when it is done from under surface.

Apply ghee on one side and switch the side. The flame of the gas should be low only.

Put ghee on other side also and shallow fry till golden brown on each side.

Take out in plate and make all in similar manner.

Serve them hot or cold with curd,butter or pickle. They can be stored at room temperature for 2-3 days.
