Ingredients

  • 2 cupsthick poha (rice flakes)
  • 2medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1potato, peeled and finely chhoped
  • 1/2 spoonmustard seeds
  • 1/4 spooncumin seeds
  • 8-10curry leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • 1/2 tablespoonsugar
  • 1 teaspoonlemon juice
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2 tablespoonsoil
  • 1/2 tablespoonred chilli powder (optional)
  • 3tomatoes, chhoped

Steps

  1. 1

    Take poha in stainer and wash it carefully by gently swifting them with your fingers under running water drain excess water. Heat oil in kadhai add mustard seeds, when they start to splutter, add cumin seeds, curry leaves. Now add onion, tomatoes and potato now Saute them properly.

    Now add soaked poha in it and mix them well now add lemon juice and sugar, mix them well.
