Heat oil in a pan add bay leaf, dry red chilli, Cardamom,cumin seeds, green chilli saute for few seconds. Add coconut fry till golden brown.

Add ginger paste cook for 5-7 mins.

Add all cumin powder, turmeric powder,red chilli powder stir for 5 mins.

Now add boiled dal add salt and sugar mix well. Cook for 10 mins.

Lastly add ghee and garam masala powder. Serve with luchi or puri.
