Homemade bread
It took me ages to get something so simple right. Here it is.

Put your flour and salt into a bowl. In a mug of lukewarm water add your yeast and sugar and stir. Leave it for 10 mind to activate and start bubbling at the top. When done start adding your water little by little to the flour while kneading. Add your oil and knead until it comes together nicely adding more flour if you need to. Put your dough into a floured board and knew and stretch the dough for a further 5-10 mins. The dough should feel just a bit sticky and very malleable.

Flour a bowl and transfer your dough into it. Dust with flour and cover with a clean kitchen towel. Let it rest in a warm place for an hour or until double in size.

Knock your dough back and knead for a couple of minutes then shape it into a long shape by rolling the dough with your hands. Twist your dough like a plat and put it in the pan lined with baking paper. Let it rest for a further half hour.

Put your bread in the oven at 190 degrees for half an hour. Take it out and let it cool on a wire wrack. Slice as needed.
