Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsmaida
  2. 2 tbspoil
  3. 1 tspinstant yeast
  4. 1 tbspsugar/ honey
  5. Pinchsalt
  6. 1 cup or as needed warm milk

    Mix all the ingredients nicely. Knead this for 10/15 mins to make a smooth and soft dough. Cover and rest it for minimum 2hrs to rise into double size.

    Now take a med portion of the dough and roll it into a thick sheet. Then cut thin strips like shown in the picture. Take 3 long strips and fix all in 1 end and start making braids. Like this make long braids by joining small braids. Make a circle out of this. Brush it with milk and Bake it in a preheated oven for 10 mins on 180©. This one is the upper part of the bread basket. Like this make the handle of the basket.

    Make long strips out of the dough. Cover the back side of an aluminum dish with aluminium foil nicely. Then start weaving the basket with the long strips as shown in the picture..

    Brush this with milk and bake this basket in a preheated oven for 20 to 25 mins on 180©

    Let it cool. Then slowly remove the bread from the back of the baking dish. Then fix the upper circular part into the lower part by the help of toothpicks. Also fix the handle in the same process. Enjoy this bread with ur favorite side dishes. I put baked potatoes and veg Manchurian in it.... My kids just love this☺
