Take oil in pan heat it add mustard seeds let it splutter then add chanadhal and curry leaves let dhal become light brown and curry leaves crispy. Once done add the onions with pinch of hing and salt and cook till it changes colour.

Now add water with coconut and let it come to a boil.

Once it starts boiling add the rava slowly that it does not form lumps. Let everything come together so that u can make balls or oval shape.. cool the dough shape them and steam for ten mins. Do not put whistle.

Serve with sambar.
