Ingredients

  1. for stuffing:
  2. 2 tspoil
  3. 1 tspginger grated
  4. 2 cupgobi / cauliflower, grated
  5. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  6. 1/2 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  7. 1/2 tspcoriander powder
  8. 1/2 tspcumin powder
  9. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  10. 1/2 tspaamchur powder / dry mango powder
  11. to tastesalt
  12. 2 tspcoriander, finely chopped (optional)
  13. for chapathi / paratha dough:
  14. 1 cupwhole wheat flour / atta
  15. to tastesalt
  16. 1 tspoil or ghee
  17. as neededwater for kneading
  18. 1/4 cupwheat flour for dusting
  19. for roasting paratha:
  20. as neededghee or oil

Cooking Instructions

    GOBI STUFFING RECIPE: firstly, heat oil and saute ginger. further add grated cauliflower (gobi) and saute for 5 minutes.

    Furthermore add all spices and salt. saute well. finally, add coriander leaves and keep aside.

    ASSEMBLING AND ROLLING GOBI PARATHA RECIPE: firstly, pinch a medium sized ball from chapathi dough, roll about 5 inches in diameter.

    Place the prepared stuffing in the center. take the edge and start pleating bringing to center. and press the pleats from center. furthermore, sprinkle some flour and roll to of a chapati size.

    ROASTING GOBI PARATA RECIPE: firstly, on a hot tava place the rolled paratha and cook both sides.

    Also add oil / ghee and press slightly. finally, serve hot gobi parathas with sauce, raita or pickle.
