Steps

Firstly, in a bowl activate the yeast by combining 1 cup milk, 2 tsp sugar and 7 grams dry yeast.

Add 3 cups maida and ½ tsp salt.
knead until the dough turns soft.
further, add 2 tbsp butter and knead the dough. - 3

Cover with cling wrap or cloth and rest for 2 hours in a warm place.
further, punch the dough and knead it slightly to remove air incorporated. - 5
Remove it back to the counter, press it and divide it into 8 equal portions.

Shape the dough into a thick disc, place the coconut stuffing inside and bring the sides of the dough to cover the filling.

Keeping the seam side down, use a knife to make cuts around the edge. Make 8 cuts leaving the centre intact.

Take out each petal and twist it to 90°.
Arrange them on a greased tray. - 9
Apply milk wash and sprinkle sesame seeds in the centre.

Bake in the oven for 20 – 25 minutes or until golden.
