Here is my recipe for this contest and hope it is creative enough 😀😀😊😊🤤🤤

Gather all your ingredients

In one bowl pour in the flour, nutmeg, cloves and baking soda. Mix them all together and set aside

In another big bowl, add your egg, sugar, mashed banana and yogurt and whisk them together till they are will mixed

Pour your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients mix and start kneading. Add the vegetable oil in the process

Keep kneading until the dough i smooth, soft and not sticking to your hands. Cover the dough with cling film or wet kitchen cloth and let it sit for 20-30minutes

After resting, roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thickness and cut to your preferred shape.

In a deep frying pot, heat some oil till it is hot enough

Start frying your mandazi till well cooked (tip: on putting the dough pieces to the oil, quickly turn them over to the other side so that they don’t burst)

Once ready serve serve with hot cup of tea
