Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupBasmati rice -
  2. 1/4 cupChana dal -
  3. 1/4 cupUrad dal -
  4. 1/4 tspCumin seeds
  5. to tasteSalt -
  6. 1/2 cupWater -
  7. 1 tbspFinely chopped coriander leaves
  8. as neededOil - for deep frying

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak basmati rice and chana and urad dals for 3-4 hours and grind to make a thick paste with the help of little water

    The batter should be thick and smooth

  3. 3

    Now add the cumin seeds,coriander leaves and salt

  4. 4

    Heat enough oil for deep frying.

  5. 5

    Now pour one spoon of batter in the hot oil and cook on medium flame till the colour is lightly brown,then turn it over another side and drain in paper napkin

  6. 6

    Serve hot with tea
