India is gifted with some amazing food hubs throughout the country and Kolkata is one among them. Egg roll, chowmein, phuchka, ghoogni, fish fry and aloo'r chop are some of the famous street foods every Kolkatan takes pride in. It has been more than 10 years I have left Kolkata and crave for it's street food too very much. My hubby who has nothing to do with kolkata( except that he is a hard core Bengali) only lends his ears to the food stories I share with him of my childhood.

But all that listening and no activity in the tongue makes him too much uncomfortable so I treat him with the same sometimes and keep that street food love in us intact. So sharing with you all the recipe of fish fry I am sure every Bengali swears of and even my 6 year old love it like anything. Enjoy it with your loved ones too. Happy eating!!!
