Ingredients

  1. 4 Tomatoes
  2. 2 Onion
  3. 1tbsp ginger, garlic paste
  4. 1/2 tbsp haldi /turmeric powder,
  5. 1/2 hing/ asafoetida
  6. 1/2 tbsp mustard seeds
  7. 1/2 tbsp jeera
  8. 1tbsp red chilli powder
  9. 1tbsp dhania jeera /cumin coriander powder
  10. 1/2 tbsp garam masala
  11. 1 tbsp gud/jaggery
  12. 1cup sev
  13. 5 cup hot Water
  14. 3 tbsp oil

Cooking Instructions

    Heat a pan add oil, add mustard seeds, jeera, add hing, add chooped onions. Cook for 3-4 minutes. add ginger, garlic paste. Cook for a minute.

    Add red chilli powder, dhania powder, haldi powder cook for a minute.

    Add chopped tomatoes, add salt. Cook until tomatoes are mushy.

    Add5-cup hot water, cover and cook for 5-minutes.

    Add 1-cup sev, bring to a boil, covers cook for 3-minutes.add garam masala, and add gud.

    Spicy, tangy tomatoe sabji is ready. Serve with jowar bhakhri.
