In a bowl sieve the flour.

Thoroughly mix the flour sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and a pinch of salt together and set aside.

In a different bowl, Add the veg oil, eggs, buttermilk, vanilla extract and red food colouring.

Stir the flour mixture, into the buttermilk and oil mixture.

Beat untill all well combined, untill there no lumps of flour and mixture is smooth and red.

If the batter is lumpy, beat with the electric mixer for no longer than 30secs.. don't over do it,or you will build up the gluten too much.

Note: you can as well add the vinegar to the mixture, for a smooth mixture as well.

Preheat the oven at 350°F grease the pan with flour.

Spread the mixture evenly in pans, and bake for 25-30mins. Until you insert a toothpick in the center, and comes out clean.

Cool in pans for 10mins.

Invert onto a cooling rack and let cool completely.

Add your whipping cream in a bowl, add a cup of buttermilk and tablespoon of vanilla extract.

Mix well with the electric mixer untill smooth and fluffy.

Get your Redvelvet baked cake, cut the top gently not that much. Evenly spread the whipping cream mixture on the top, using a spatula or a piping bag.

Crush the cake on the whipping cream.

Then use the piping bag to spread the strawberry syrup on top.

You can as well add your fruits currents and sprinkles..
