Ingredients

  1. 1 bottlegourd chopped
  2. 2large potatoes cut into cubed
  3. 200 gmsshrimps
  4. 1bay leaf
  5. 1 teaspoonginger paste
  6. 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  7. 1 teaspooncumin powder
  8. 1 teaspoonsugar
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. 2 tablespoonsmustard oil
  11. 1 teaspoonpanch phoron

Cooking Instructions

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Blanch the potato and bottle gourd in little bit of salt water.

    Heat oil in a deep bottom pan add panch phoron and crackle for few minutes then add bay leaf and ginger paste.

  3. 3

    Saute them for few minutes then add shrimps and all spices powder and fry it for few minutes.

  4. 4

    Then add the boiled potato and bottle gourd and mix it well cover it and simmer till the bottle gourd losses all water and cooked.

    Serve this delicious dish along with only Steamed Rice for a satisfying weekday meal.
