Cooking Instructions

Prepare a semi thick batter using Rawa, curd, salt and water. Set it aside for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile prepare the stuffing. Heat oil in a pan. Add the chopped onion and saute till transparent. Add all the masalas and roast for a few minutes. Add the boiled and mashed potatoes, peas, Walt and mix well. Cook for a few minutes. Switch off flame and let the stuffing cool. Once cool shape into tikkis and set aside.

Heat oil in a pan. Pour a ladle full of batter. Let it cook on one side and then flip it over. Once the backside is golden place the aloo tikki in the centre. Pour 3/4 ladle of batter over the tikki and flip it. Press down the utappam gently from the centre so that the tikki flattens and spreads out.

Cook till golden and remove from the pan. Serve hot. Enjoy!
