Cooking Instructions
- 1
Heat oil in Kadhai and add Chopped Onion and sauté till translucent. Add Ginger garlic paste. Sauté a minute. Add the spices and sauté. Add the chopped Tomato and sauté till mushy.
- 2
Add the mashed potato to the Kadhai and mix well. Finally add chopped Coriander leaves & mix well. The stuffing is ready.
- 3
Smear butter on a Tawa and roast one side of the bread. Remove from Tawa and spread one scoop of the stuffing over the roasted side of bread. Keep another over the stuffing, ( roasted side touching the stuffing.
- 4
Place the unroasted side of bread over the smeared with butter. Once it gets roasted Flip carefully and roast the other side. Cut diagonally and serve for breakfast or as snack. If it goes into lunchbox cut them to smaller sizes to fit into the box. Also send along fruits, Vegetables etc, which the kids love.
- 5
If you have a sandwich maker, smear butter on to the inner side of maker / over the bread facing the maker and toast them.
- 6
Send some exotic fruits in the box which they will take pride in sharing with their friends too. Dragon fruit is one such fruit. Wash the fruit well with salt water and cut on the long side. Roped fruit can easily be scooped out with a spoon. The flesh part comes off like in Avocado. Cube them and send in a separate box.

Old School Lunch-Style Egg and Cucumber Salad Sandwiches Old School Lunch-Style Egg and Cucumber Salad Sandwiches
Eating these always make me nostalgic for school lunches. It's an easy, relatively simple sandwich but I have never seen this anywhere else so I posted this recipe. My sister, who went to the same school, says 'I don't remember this.' I wonder why. A lot of people seem to like it anyway! The cucumber is prepared with salt, so don't use too much mayonnaise. When I was an elementary school student, I used to think that the mustard in mine was too strong so you might not need any mustard for your children's sandwiches. I think these are easier to eat than regular egg and sliced cucumber sandwiches. For 1 serving. Recipe by 明日見 cookpad.japan -
