Clean the spinach. Boil it for a few minutes adding salt half garlic green chillies ginger and one onion. Remove from fire and cool.

Heat a pan. Add bay leaf,hing, whole red chillies and whole garam masalas. Add jeera. Add in the remaining onion and chopped garlic. Add in chopped tomatoes.

Strain the water. In a blender add the spinach and besan and make a puree. Add in the strained water too and blend well.

Add the spinach puree. Cook till the besan and spinach blend well. Remove from fire.

In a pan heat the ghee. Add kashmiri mirch powder. Add it to the cooked spinach.

Serve with makka rotis.
