Ingredients

  • 2 cupsflour
  • 2 cupssugar
  • 2 tspbaking powder
  • 1 tspbaking soda
  • 1sprinkle of cinnamon
  • 1/4 tspnutmeg
  • 1/4 tspcloves
  • 1 pinchsalt
  • 3 cupsshredded carrots
  • 4eggs
  • 1 cupcanola oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven at 350°F and line a pan with parchment paper or non-stick cooking spray.

  2. 2

    Combine sugar and oil with a beater.

  3. 3

    Add eggs, beating one at a time.

  4. 4

    Sift flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.

  5. 5

    Mix the dry and wet ingredients together.

  6. 6

    Bake for 35-40 minutes.
