Easy Madeleines with 10 minutes Prep Easy Madeleines with 10 minutes Prep
I'm so busy with my kids that I don't have time for baking desserts! After looking at a lot of different recipes, I put this one together for a quick and easy dessert that tastes like the madeleines my mother used to make. Every time I make these, my friends with children always ask for the recipe so I posted it here for the first time. Please try making the patterned madeleines intoo!I usually use margarine. It's cheap and I always have it stocked in the fridge so I can make madeleines whenever. Margarine also gives a lighter taste than butter. Using butter gives the madeleines a strong taste. You can store these in the freezer. Just let them naturally defrost when you want to eat them. Recipe by Sachimura cookpad.japan -
Chocolate Coffee Scones Chocolate Coffee Scones
I love coffee and scones, so I created coffee flavoured scones. It's a great match with the bitterness of coffee and sweet chocolate chips. I like the volume and texture of the scones from Starbucks, so I tried to recreate it in my recipe. The most important point is mixing it all quickly while everything is still cold.I have confidence that my scones can compete with those from coffee shops. Please enjoy while having hot coffee at your home café.If you make these with a heart shape, it would be a great gift for Valentine’s Day! For 8 scones. Recipe by yaburie cookpad.japan -
Fluffy Sponge Cake with Pancake Mix Fluffy Sponge Cake with Pancake Mix
I made this for my daughter who has an egg allergy. I think this cake is the closest to a normal sponge cake so far. I baked it the day before, and decorated it the day after, but the cake was still nice and soft. But, since it's so soft, and it may break when you slice in half, so be careful.Just mix. It gets too hot on the middle rack in our oven, so I bake it on the lower rack. But I think this may differ depending on your oven, so just take that as a reference. Bake for longer if needed. Savior Muffins Savior Muffins
Since I'm not a huge fan of egg whites, my freezer stock was getting full.I needed to do something with them. That's when I decided to bake these muffins.Nothing, really. Make sure to mix everything evenly. It's moist and tasty even a day after it's baked. You could bake these without almond flour, but I personally felt it tasted really floury without it. If margarine bothers you, try butter! Recipe by Midorenja- cookpad.japan -
Iced Lemon Loaf Iced Lemon Loaf
I was invited to Easter brunch and decided to try this easy quick bread recipe for the first time. I sampled it before I brought it to the party, and I can confidently say that it’s tasty (and stayed moist with a tender texture even though I used the wrong sized pan. Whoops.)This is from averiecooks.com with some modification. Chris Gan -

Honey and Lemon Muffins Honey and Lemon Muffins
Limes were on sale, so I combined them with honey for these muffins. I love the combination of citrus fruits and honey.I used salted margarine balanced with vegetable oil since I didn't want the flavor to be too strong. If using unsalted butter, you could use 100 g butter without vegetable oil.I used limes in place of lemons, since I happened to have them. You can also use bottled instead of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Tropical Cake with Pineapple & Coconut Tropical Cake with Pineapple & Coconut
I had some leftover pineapple, so I thought I'd use some to make a cake. I wanted to add a lot of pineapple to the batter, so I decided to use a pan that would allow me to bake a thin tart in order to bake it all the way through.I didn't want it to be too dry, so I added some almond flour to it.This is a cake that just requires mixing, so I think it's easy to make. If you can't get fresh pineapple, you can use canned pineapple.Chill it in the refrigerator, then cut. That way, you can cleanly cut it without worrying about it crumbling. Try to bring it back to room temperature before serving it, though. You'll be surprised by how it's so soft and moist! Recipe by Marimo1016 cookpad.japan
